Woohoo, my first blog for this site 🙂
If you are reading this, there is a good chance you are interested in looking after yourself and if you are not already trying to stay fit and healthy
, perhaps you are looking for ideas on how to get started?
There is such a minefield of information out there, it really is hard to know what you want, let alone how to achieve it. My mission
here on the GO Health and Fitness Blog is to give you as much up to date, well researched, relevant and unambiguous
health, fitness and lifestyle advice to allow you to make the right decisions for you and your circumstances, whether that is fat loss, exercise and nutrition advice, personal training, online training or group training.
GO Health and Fitness
The right Personal Trainer
Health and fitness is never a ‘one size fits all’ solution and you should never beat yourself up about understanding what’s right for you. Just like you would get an electrician in to rewire your house as they have had the relevant training, so you should source a qualified and trained
professional to help you make the right decisions for your health. There are lots of us about, and not everyone will be a good fit for you and your needs, but once you have found someone you know, like and trust, then you’re in business! The right personal trainer will likely have faced similar problems to you or just be someone you admire, be wary of celebrities out to make a fast buck with the latest on-trend workout; you might get some results, but it’s more likely you will injure yourself! Do ensure your trainer is qualified and insured – believe me, there are plenty who are not.
Simple things done consistently is key
Despite the stress-busting
endorphin release of physical activity, it’s generally true that people would not choose to exercise if they could get in shape without it, however, not only is exercise/activity vital in any weight loss plan, it is also paramount to heart health
, good sleep, keeping disease at bay, mental agility and everything else necessary to ensure you get the most out of your body in the time you live in it. The good news is, that big gains can be had from small lifestyle changes that can be incorporated easily into your daily routine.
Happy on an exercise ball
